QUESTION: What book would you love to see made into a movie or television show and do you have actors/actresses in mind to play the main characters?Answer: One book I really liked was the Hunger Games, and I really hope that the movies don't turn out to be a flop. I hope Jennifer Lawrence nails her role and so does Gale and Peeta. For the Harry Potter books, there was so much left out but it was pretty good in the end, and I saw Twilight and have yet to finish reading the books (I keep getting distracted with the other choices of books I have) but everyone said those had issues.
I think that Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler would also make a great movie. I didn't necessarily love it to pieces, but I think it would be a great thing to show on ABC Family or something like that. It just seems like that type of movie you'd see on that channel. I can't really envision the characters, though.
I can't wait for Hunger Games but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high in case it is a flop like you said. Happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure HG will be fantastic. Suzanne wrote the first script so she decided what is and isn't going to be in the movie. Plus she helped cast the main three characters. Everything has been 100% approved by the author. I have faith in this movie.

I haven't read Bittersweet yet, though I thoroughly enjoyed Twenty Boy Summer. And I'm with you on Hunger Games... I really hope the movie does it justice. It's really hard for me to enjoy movies made from books because the books are always so much better.

I'm crazy excited about seeing The Hunger Games on the big screen, but I'm also afraid that the movie can't possibly do the book justice. I do think that Lawrence was a good pick for Katniss though, so hopefully everything will go okay!
